		<description>A good summary of a pitiable history, though I would posit that the SBK Publishing deal was a good one (unlike the SBK Records acquisition) .   The amount of stockholders&#039; money wasted on all the other acquisitions to which David refers is absolutely staggering.  

And I agree that the current lawsuit is a non-starter.  

Future business school students will have a very interesting time doing case studies of the death of packaged recorded music and how the major music companies could have handled it better.</description>
